Fast Track Process

For your convenience, Gastroenterology Associates offers the popular Fast Track for patient care. Fast Track is a process that allows patients to skip the initial office visit and come in the day of their procedure. This minimizes work absences and doctor visits and shows that we understand your time is valuable. Our patients are pleased with the savings and convenience.

First, our Doctors review the patient’s records to determine how the patient will be seen, which procedures are necessary, and whether our office-based endoscopy facility or a hospital location is best.

Following physician approval, a registered nurse calls the patient to conduct a comprehensive interview for medical history and to set a procedure date.

On the day of the exam, the patient meets with the physician who reviews their medical history, physical exam, and counsels them regarding the procedure.

Following the procedure, the physician meets with the patient again for a discussion of test findings.
